Prescription AEROSPAN Inhalation Aerosol is used for the long-term (maintenance) treatment of asthma to control and prevent asthma symptoms in adults and children 6 years of age and older. AEROSPAN Inhalation Aerosol is not for, and does not treat, sudden symptoms of an asthma attack. AEROSPAN Inhalation Aerosol does not replace a rescue inhaler.
